Your Memorial

Earthbound memorials

A living tree sits at the centre of each Earthbound memorial.

Living Tree

Soil Blend

Each tree is planted using a prepared soil blend, into which a portion of cremated remains is gently integrated. In their natural form, cremated remains are too alkaline to support plant life. Through a process of preparation and soil balancing, they become part of a stable growing environment.

Felt Pot

The tree is planted within a breathable felt growing pot. This supports healthy root development and allows the tree to continue growing over time, without disturbance.

Planter

As the tree matures, it can be moved into larger growing pots by placing the entire felt pot into the next size up, with fresh compost added around it. The soil and cremated remains remain undisturbed throughout.

Memorial Pinth

Beneath the tree, the remaining cremated remains are held within the memorial plinth, forming a permanent and unseen foundation.

Lives Alongside You

The memorial is designed to live alongside you. It can be kept indoors or outdoors, depending on the tree selected, and can move with you if your circumstances change.

Care Guidance

You will receive clear care guidance with your memorial, and we can help you select a tree suited to your environment and level of experience. Ongoing support is always available through our plant specialist, should you need it.

Settled & Stable

Each tree is tended for several weeks before delivery, ensuring it is settled, stable, and thriving before it leaves our care.

Small Portion of Ashes

A small portion of ashes is also retained, allowing for future planting if needed.

Digital Memorial

Each Earthbound memorial is accompanied by a dedicated digital memorial page.
The page is designed as a shared space, where family and friends can gather photographs, music, voice notes, and written memories over time.

Choose your memorial tree
