A Message From
Our Founder

My understanding of remembrance has been shaped by personal experience, but also by observing how often families struggle quietly with what comes after cremation.

In my own family, loss revealed how physical distance can deepen emotional distance — particularly when memorials are fixed in places no longer easy to reach. Later, while caring for my grandparents in their final years, this became clearer. The formalities of loss were handled well, but what followed felt unresolved.

Rather than creating another ritual or symbolic gesture, I set out to develop a structure that could hold responsibility carefully and adapt to real lives as they change. One that allows remembrance to exist within daily life, without demanding permanence, performance, or
certainty.
Earthbound reflects that intention: measured, considered, and designed to support connection over time.

Why Earthbound Exisits

Earthbound exists to support you in the time following cremation

Following Cremation

There is often a quiet pause when formal arrangements conclude and responsibility returns to families to decide what to do with the ashes. Cremated remains may go uncollected or be set aside – not from neglect, but because the decision can feel difficult.

A Touching Tribute

We collect the ashes of your loved one, from wherever they rest, and deliver a memorial to your door that is as individual as they were. We can create memorials for multiple family members, and link you with the digital memorial page, for a tribute that feels fitting for everyone.

Remembrance

By working with living memorials, Earthbound allows remembrance to exist within everyday life — not as a fixed destination, but as something present and ongoing. The memorial is designed to be stable, adaptable, and capable of moving with people as circumstances change.

Design, Responsibility & Environmental Care

Earthbound is designed with an awareness of both personal responsibility and environmental impact.

Earthbound is designed with an awareness that acts of remembrance and care exist within a wider context.

Consideration
Every decision — from materials and manufacturing to packaging and partnerships — is made with consideration for how the memorial exists not only within a family’s life, but within the wider world it becomes part of.
Environmentally Responsible Processes
Both the concealed cremains foundation and supporting components are manufactured using environmentally responsible processes, incorporating materials based on naturally occurring earth oxides
UK Manufacturers
Wherever possible, Earthbound works with UK-based manufacturers. This allows for closer oversight, reduced transport impact, and more responsible production practices.
Sustainable Materials and Packaging

The materials used within Earthbound memorials and packaging are selected for their long-term behaviour, stability, and environmental compatibility.

Choose your memorial tree
The Earthbound memorial tree collection includes species chosen for their resilience, manageable care requirements and ability to thrive in domestic environments. They are memorials that can be passed on through the family, for years to come.
