Over 25 Years of Tennis and Community
For more than 25 years, Southsea Tennis Club has been a resource for players who love the game and the community that comes with it. Grown from a handful of enthusiasts into a welcoming group of 200 plus members, our club is run by and for people who simply love the game.
In a prime position on Southsea Common, we have 4 top quality floodlit astro courts and 6 hard courts (3 floodlit).
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a seasoned player, or somewhere in between, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty of opportunities to play, improve, and connect.

SOUTHSEA TENNIS CLUB
Prime location on Southsea common
Nestled in the heart of Southsea, our club enjoys a prime position on Southsea Common, offering plenty of space, fresh air, and a scenic backdrop for your tennis. With easy access to local transport, parking, and nearby cafés, it’s the perfect spot for both serious play and relaxed social tennis. Whether you’re popping in for a quick match after work or spending the day on court, the location makes it easy to enjoy tennis whenever you like.
The club has regular mix in sessions so you don’t need to find a partner to get a game of tennis. There are very good players there but mostly there are a lot of people just happy to be doing something active and social. Highly recommended especially for someone moving to the area
