Southsea Tennis Club is proud to celebrate an outstanding 2025/26 Winter League season, with our Men’s 2 & Ladies teams finishing top of their divisions, Mixed 1 in second place just missing out on the top spot by 1 rubber and Men’s 1 (at the time of writing) waiting for a final game of the season between Abshot vs, Chichester on Saturday to determine whether they finish first or second in their division.
Our teams’ performances are a brilliant reflection of the strength, depth and team spirit across the club. Throughout the winter, our players have shown great commitment, often competing in tough, windy conditions and consistently representing the club with determination and pride. From dominant wins to closely fought matches, it’s been a season full of high-quality tennis.
A special mention also goes to our other teams, who have battled hard throughout the campaign. While results didn’t always go their way, their effort, resilience and willingness to compete have been just as important to the club’s overall success.
This season highlights not only the standard of tennis at Southsea, but also the supportive and inclusive environment that makes the club such a great place to play.
