Why Should Dorset Care About Net Zero? An Audience with Bob Ward.

Following the success of his May talk “What Impact is Climate Change Having on Dorset?”, Bob Ward will return to Sladers Yard with a sequel exploring Dorset’s shared concerns about Net Zero. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear more insightful discussion on one of today’s most pressing topics. Join us for an informative and engaging talk, followed by a Q&A, where Bob will answer your burning questions about Dorset’s path to net zero.

If you can’t attend but would like to share your thoughts or questions, simply reply to this email (let us know if you wish to remain anonymous). We’ll do our best to put your questions to Bob and share his responses afterward.

This event will be recorded and made available on our new website (currently under construction), along with many other talks.

An Evening with Brian Jackman. How eco-tourism saved Wild Africa.

Due to the busy Christmas period we've decided to bring our HOP Talk forward to earlier in the month. And, we're very pleased to announce that Brian Jackman will be our guest speaker. Come along and join Brian for an inspiring talk on how eco-tourism is helping to preserve Africa’s great wildlife and wilderness.

Brian is a respected wildlife travel writer whose work spans decades of African safari experience. Through his writing and advocacy he supports the concept of eco-tourism as a tool to help protect wild places and wildlife. His voice has helped shape and promote the idea that safari tourism when done properly, can help “save” wildlife areas, rather than threaten them.

Early booking recommended.

Tickets are available from The Bridport Tourist Information Centre or online from the link below.
