Their projects are large, and I feel privileged to be a small part of the process. I love that I might be called upon to complete one or two pieces for a project, and then the work rolls on to various other things as the clients settle into their new homes.
Randell Design Group have a wonderful interiors team who ask me to complete a wide variety of work, from cushions to bespoke headboards, and restoring antique chairs; I am happy to help them with whatever they need.
It has become a seamless process of turning designers’ drawings into reality. I only need an outline or sketch to understand what is needed, which is particularly helpful when houses and interiors are still being built. I will then work with the designers to plan site visits, and work out the final details as we go, allowing for the flexibility that these projects often require.
Many of these projects are under strict NDA, and I work carefully with all my clients to understand the appropriate channels for sharing and communicating the work I do for these private family homes. Beyond the work itself, I have had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people through these projects — people whose enthusiasm for premium materials and finishes is something I find deeply satisfying.
