    The stretch between Passau and Vienna is the classic. My favourite section is through the Wachau Valley, where you ride past vineyards, apricot orchards and pretty towns like D\u00fcrnstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Daily distance sweet spot is 40 to 70 km. You\u2019ll never be far from coffee and cake. Or a ferry crossing, which means you can experience both sides of the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you want a city, as well as lakes and mountains all in one route, then this is the right pick for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Setting off from the beautiful city of Salzburg, you\u2019ll pass alongside several lakes, including the famous Wolfgangsee, pass through the spa town Bad Ischl and ride quiet paths through villages that feel properly Austrian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are gentle rolling stretches, but with an e-bike, they feel perfectly manageable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This is Bavaria at its gentlest. Pretty, scenic and well signposted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You follow the Altm\u00fchl river past limestone cliffs and sleepy villages. Surfaces are excellent, and gradients are kind. Stop for some Bavarian beer or some excellent hearty food to fuel you for the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
