{"id":1160,"date":"2020-08-24T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-24T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2design.co\/ebike\/lavant-bike-path-carinthia-austria\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T11:20:56","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T10:20:56","slug":"lavant-bike-path-carinthia-austria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2design.co\/ebike\/lavant-bike-path-carinthia-austria\/","title":{"rendered":"Lavant Bike Path, Carinthia, Austria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Lavant Bike Path<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the lesser well-known bike paths in Austria, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitcarinthia.at\/destinations\/summer\/lavanttal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Lavant Bike path<\/a> is one to consider. It runs from Reichenfels to Lavam\u00fcnd over 57kms through the Lavanttal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you start in Reichenfels then it is all downhill through this rugged and charming valley. It takes you through the mountainous and sharp sided valleys in the north to the wider valley further south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The valley is historical with Castles &amp; Abbeys which protected this area from invaders, dotted all the way through it.&nbsp; It is easy riding through this valley, which is mainly on a cycle path. Such as the River Drau in the south or the River Mur in the north.
