Knowing what to do with a loved one’s cremains can leave one feeling unsettled and unsure.
We will collect your loved one cremains from wherever they rest and plant the living memorial plant of your choice in the cremains.
Traditionally, plants cannot tolerate untreated cremains and so we put the ashes through an eco-friendly process that keeps the integrity of the remains intact and enables us to pot the memorial plant, with the cremains, safety.
We will then deliver your beautifully packaged Earthbound Memorial, to your door or if gifted, the door of your loved one. Several memorials can be created for family members from one person’s cremains.

Tree Care
We ensure that your memorial tree has the best physical foundations to thrive, and detailed care instructions will be provided. However, if you are not naturally green fingered, and the worst happens, we have this covered too.
Keepsake
Included with your Earthbound Memorial is a ‘keepsake’ with a small amount of cremains. Just return this package to us and we can create a new Earthbound memorial for you.
Additional Trees
Not all the cremains will be used in one Earthbound Memorial. Should your family members want memorial trees of their own, this can be easily accommodated.Â
Laid to Rest
Any excess cremains can either be returned to you. Or, if you would prefer, we can lay them to rest in a beautiful, private forest in Hampshire.

What percentage of cremains are included in an Earthbound Memorial?
This depends on the size of the memorial plant, but a typical indoor plant is infused with 118.32 ml (half a cup) of cremains.
Can friends and family have an Earthbound Memorial from our loved ones cremains too?
Absolutely. We can deliver multiple living memorials, each of whom share access to the memorial page.
What happens to any unused cremains?
Dependent on your wishes; we can either return, or compassionately lay to rest, any unused cremains.
